I am a long time resident of The Big Island. I just read a copy of Bill 79, draft 2, and I
support it wholeheartedly.
The proliferation of GMO experimentation is an action which might possibly benefit a few
people but more likely the cost may be paid by very many. I believe a primary purpose of
government is to protect our common resources from selfish exploitation so that all may
continue to benefit from cooperative, mutually beneficial uses.
