Councilperson M Wille,
Dear Councilors,
First off, Mahalo to Councilperson Margaret Wille and her Bill 79. I'm not sure if I would have
grandfathered in all her extras, (GMO dairy feed, future GMO flowers), but overall its a good bill. I
think it would have been better if she would have included a legal liability clause for GM contamination. It
has been shown that countries which have done this eg Germany, GM crops are no longer planted in the country
because farmers are not prepared to accept liability for contamination. But I realize that this would have made the
bill un-passable in corporate amerika... but well done!!!
