Subject: "Support Bill 79"
Please support this bill relating to Genetically Modified Organisms.
The Federal Government just recently passed a definition of GMO's that basically said, if it's seen the
inside of a lab, it's not natural. These GMOs that are being rampantly grown in Hawaii (and especially
Hawaii Island) are contaminating the organic culture that is in large part why people come to Hawaii to
grow food. We don't know the long term effects and the majority of other countries will not allow
GMO's in their mainstream food sources.
Please support this bill that says NO MORE GMO's. In the very least, pass something that allows for
labelling so WE KNOW WHAT WE ARE EATING!!!
