Aloha council members,
Just because something is possible does not mean it is a good idea.
GMO's are not tested significantly. They are formulated to be used in conjunction with chemicals
PROVEN to have adverse effects on health of all living species, including birth defects and cancer. They
are formulated by huge corporations whose end goal is to OWN ALL food production capabilities
globally. Those who profit most from their proliferation in our lands do NOT live here and are not
invested here emotionally or otherwise.
Will you look back in 20 years, or 50 years and explain to your children and grandchildren why you
allowed Hawaii to be poisoned?! That future is unknown, but one thing is certain: food is one of only a
handful of basic human necessities. Is short-term gain into an unseen future worth the risk of scientific
experimentation on this human right?
Please support this bill for the health of us all. You already know it is the right thing to do.
