Subject: In Support of Bill 79 for the County of Hawai'i
Aloha County of Hawai'i Council Members,
We are so thankful for the introduction of Bill 79 (An ordinance amending
chapter 14 of the Hawai'i County Code 1983 By adding a new article
relating to prohibition of genetically modified organisms).
It is our hope that the council will vote unanimously to pass Bill 79.
Myself and my 'ohana are in strong support of this bill and appreciate the
efforts of the County of Hawai'i to lead the state in the preservation of our
agricultural heritage & lands, environment, health and rights.
