It is my pleasure to nominate Leina'ala Enos, of Council District 6 to the Hawai'i County Liquor
Commission. Ms. Enos is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. She is presently employed by the
Queen Lili'uokalani Children's Center as a Community Building Facilitator IV.
Ms. Enos recently served as a member of the Hawai'i County Liquor Adjudication Board. Her
term expired in December, 2012. She is presently the chair of both the Ka'u Community
Development Plan and the Naalehu Methodist Church Council. She is also a member of Hale
'0 Na Ali'i, and the Hawaiian Civic Club of Ka'u. Ms. Enos states that she is not affiliated with
any political party. If confirmed, she will serve a term that ends on December 31, 2017,
replacing Gene Carvalho, whose term expired in December, 2012.
