It is my pleasure to nominate Douglass S. Adams to the Hawai'i County Board of
Ethics. Presently, and for the past 21 years, he has served on the Board of Directors of
W.H. Shipman, Ltd.
Mr. Adams is currently a member and president-elect of the Rotary Club of Hilo, and a
member of the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club on the Big Island. He
states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will serve a term
to expire on December 31, 2017, replacing David Heaukulani whose term expired on
December 31, 2012.
