Comm. 501: ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW FEES FOR MOTOR VEHICLE
(Bill 791) REGISTRATION
From Director of Finance Stanley A. Nakamae dated
September 24 , 1981 informing Act 44 , SLH 1981,
authorizes the county councils of each county to
establish fees for certain motor vehicle transactions ;
namely, dealer corrections , transfers of ownership ,
and duplicate certificate of registration or owner-
ship . Submits an ordinance bill to establish the
new fees , after analyzing their operations and
discussing the proposed fees with other counties ;
recommends Council approve and adopt Bill 791 on first reading.
