Subject: Support for Bill 79
(sed server overloaded. assuming this will arrive in time)
VOTING YES Bill 79
It's so embarrassing to have the people trying to get their voices heard, only to have the squelched or ignored—
particularly by politicians who are supposed to represent them but instead $old their soul to these very corporations.
THE PEOPLE are the ones who should have a say in GMOs infecting their land, home, lives, health, NOT the corporations
—or their employees who are being PAID to speak on behalf of the corporations.Time and time again, corporations
come to the islands; they rape and pillage, while pretending to care about the locals and the community. We don't NEED
GMOs on the islands. They do not FEED us.They do not support or sustain us.That land can be used to create local jobs.
Jobs that do not require poisoning the land, air and water.Jobs that don't threaten the environment. That don't destroy
organic fields. That don't make children sick. Anyone who is for GMOs seems to be bought and sold—or sadly
misinformed. There is no way to properly contain GE organisms on the islands. Essentially we are opening the door to
infect the islands and who knows the impact. GMOs ARE the modern day mongoose—but the consequences will be
much worse!!!! Council people—the citizens you REPRESENT are awake, conscious and watching your every move. Is
selling out worth it?
