My apologies to the county council for this type of fanaticism. Sharon You don't know what is in these people's hearts. I was them I would side with biotech just because of the awful way you are communicating with people- sending judgmental hate mail. We have intelligent and loving alternatives to offer our county. The reasons our county will choose non-toxic agriculture is because consumers re increasingly boycotting these foods and much more money is to be made in natural organic foods. People do not respond positively to bullying and accusations. We are here to work with our council members, papaya farmers, ranchers, etc. a non toxic, organic big island will be the first of its kind in the world to dedicate an entire island to non toxic agriculture, therefore demanding higher prices on. Te global market and a greater tourism attraction. The future of tourism is in health and healing retreats. The future of agriculture is in food and ant based medicine. When we stop talking and focusing in the problem- which is already been identified- we can discuss why the solution is much more profitable And healthful for all of us here on big island. While its true that the spraying of toxic chemicals, which find their way into our air, food, and water, is a violation of our human and constitutional right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, we are not moving forward by name calling, "shaming" people, and sending out frantic emails everyday that people no longer read because of their harsh content. Sharon please take some time to reconsider your approach. Just because you have knowledge and information about the dangers and toxicity of GMO, Herbicide, and Pesticide, doesn't mean the council members are aware or knowledgable about this information. We must educate them lovingly and gently. We must explain how and why their is great economic opportunity for this Island in non toxic agriculture, super foods, and super herbs. The bottom line is that no-one listens to a person who judges, accuses, and name calls them. I'd like to open up the conversation with the council in a respectful dialogue. Thank you.
