aloha council,
gmo buffer zones are necessary. glyphosate in roundup causes every disease under our sun
including infertility and autism, along with alzheimer's and parkinson's disease and other
diseases. these are roundup ready crops sprayed with as much roundup as they want.
adding other chemicals on top of the roundup creates new chemicals that are not covered
by a msds (material safety data sheet). conducting roundup experiments within sight of
communities is not pono for life here on kauai. roundup is not sustainable farming. it is
wholesale destruction of our water shed and soils and reefs. where are the studies on
inhaling gmo pollen? we are not lab rats. we are humans with families and friends who
want a whole environment, not daily doses of poison. we want to breath the same air the
first hawaiians breathed. we want real farms with real sustainable organic crops, supporting
people in communities not corporations. mahalo for your time and consideration, lise and
