Dear Councilperson,
I strongly urge you to vote NO on Bill 79, or any other law that would restrict the use of
genetically engineered crops on the Island of Hawaii.
There is no credible scientific evidence that genetically engineered crops pose any health
risk to humans. Please don't be influenced by the myths and outright misinformation put
forth by people promoting restrictions on genetically engineered crops .
Please use logic and reason in evaluating the evidence and vote NO on Bill 79.
