Subject: HEARING JULY 30 re: Bill #79
Honorable Council:
I recently visited your beautiful state. It was a dream of mine since I was a child. I learned much about the islands during
my stay. Some information was quite disturbing regarding the use of pesticides and testing done earlier on other islands.
My daughter became an activist and educated me, her grown mother on what was happening to our farmers here on
the mainland. I am an educated woman. I needed to check it out for myself and researched what was happening to our
farmers and the effects the foods were having, as well.
This travesty is being covered up by money. I pray you will take a stand, not be swayed by lies or money and do what is
right for your constituents.Their livelihood, health and well being depends on your voting YES on Bill #79.
