Subject: G.E crops
Dear Governor and council members,
I would like to say that I am so saddened that you are allowing companies to pollute the island, water and people in
order to produce food that people do not want to eat. You are endangering lives, our food system as well as our
environment. I will no longer vacation on islands that are producing G.E. crops. I will not support an economy that
chooses this path. Nor do I want to be exposed to the chemicals used in producing these crops. These chemicals are
however going into the ocean and will effect all living things..including the food I eat.
I would encourage you to think long term. For the health and well being of us all...please go organic. This is the wish of
the people.
