My name is Christina Yahn from Canada, Im a beekeeper and educator who just visited your area and observed that your bees are battling a lot right now but are recovering from the pest invasions of Varoa Mites and Small Hive Beetles. I am urging you to please support the ban of GMOS. We recently lost 600 bee colonies in Canada due to a crop of monsantos systemic corn planted here. The Bees in Europe have come back in mass numbers since they banned certain gmos and pesticides. If you truly care about food security in your region and the health of your communities take a stand against the use of GMO. I fully support this bill and request that you listen to your local beekeepers and organic farmers. This is very serious for the future of your Island.
