Hello,
My name is Linda Berry and I write to you for your support to cease the proliferation of GMO"s here on
our Beautiful Big Island. By now you have heard countless testimonies, from your constituents, on all the
many and varying reasons to Not allow these genetic poisons into our environment. You have already
heard the facts and figures, the environmental threats and the corporate greed behind these really insidious
and wrong agricultural practices. I only prey that the council people voting on this IMPORTANT issue
have not already been bribed and promised political power in the way of"pocket $ lining" and campaign
contributions for future higher office possibilities. I prey the council is unencumbered by the vile evil
business practices and ruthless indifference to moral and ethical values that appear wherever these
companies decide to experiment with their poisons. It is my fear that it may be to late for the council to
give an objective vote. I prey that you search within yourselves and do what is right for our Island and Vote
to quash this offensive plan to pollute our Aina. We should not have to live in fear of poisoning ourselves,
our children, our grand-children, and our animals. NO GMO'S IN HAWAII!
