A perhaps even more important issue is that these are science experiments that require more herbicide, fungicide, and pesticide use. These chemicals are not just toxic to the "bad" pests, weeds, etc., but our children as well. And now we see increasing evidence that herbicide, pesticide, fungicide use is a major factor in the die-off of bees. http://gz.com/107970/scientists-discover-whats-killing-the-bees-and-its-worse-than-you-thought/ One question that has not been addressed is the impact of the chemicals being used on Kauai, Oahu, and Molokai on coral reef environments. We need to ban GMO science experiments until we know will darig will be done to Hawai'i's delicate, interconnected ecosystems. z CD w `--4 D-G c) Mahalo, s rn N Chuck Flaherty -,c http://qz.com/107970/scientists-discover-whats-killing-the-bees-and-its-worse-than-you-thought/ Comm.
