Dear Mr.Yoshimoto,
Our Iowa family farm grow corn, beans, oats and hay that include some biotech traits. This advancements in crop
production has allowed us grow with less erosion to your land (no tilling) and reduce the amount of pesticides needed.
Most of the crops we grow, feed your livestock. These crops have proven to be safe for my family working on the farm,
feeding our livestock, and for consumers of our farm production.
In many states including Iowa and Hawaii the opportunity to explore and implement new technologies and farm
practices allows farmers to grow more while reducing your environmental footprint in this world.
Please do not pass a county bill that will restrict or ban the exploration and use of biotechnology.
