Subject: Please do not restrict biotechnology
Dear Mr.Yoshimoto,
Restricting biotechnology is a big mistake. Past research has greatly increased yields, profits, and world food supply.
In Iowa, over 90%of both corn and soybeans have at least some biotech traits.Not only have these products been
proven to be safe,they reduce the need for water,fertilizer, and pesticides.
Please do not pass a county bill that will restrict the exploration and use of biotechnology.
going backwards will not benefit anyone.
