Comm. 371: ACCEPTS THE NEGOTIATED LEASE AGREEMENT FOR HĀMĀKUA LANDS
(Res. 157-13) IDENTIFIED AS TAX MAP KEY (3)4-3-007-001 WITH ABBA’S GARDEN LLC,
PURSUANT TO SECTION 2-114 OF THE HAWAI‘I COUNTY CODE
From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated July 31, 2013. Resolution 38-11
authorized the lease of certain County of Hawai‘i owned lands, and required that the
negotiated lease agreement for those lands be accepted by the County Council pursuant
to Section 2-114(d) of the Hawai‘i County Code. The parcel consists of 92 acres, and
will be leased for a term of 10 years at $10,585.41 per year, with an option of two
additional 10 year terms.
Recommends adoption of Res. 157-13:

JULY 1,2013 TO JUNE 30, 2014
From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated July 31, 2012. Adds the Public Works,
Waiānuenue Avenue Improvements projects -Federal ($280,000), and
-County ($70,000) for a total of $350,000 to the Capital Budget. Funds for this project
shall be provided from Federal Grants Receivable ($280,000) and General Obligation
Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - Fund Balance and/or other Sources ($70,000).
Recommends passage of Bill 107 on first reading:
