Jacobs as Director of Information Technology for the County of Hawai'i, pursuant to the requirements of the Charter of the County of Hawaii, effective September 16, 2013. Mr. Jacobs served as the County of Hawaii Information Systems Analyst V and Acting Director of Information Technology since April 22, 2013. During this period he worked effectively with the department and administration in overseeing Information Technology. Pursuant to Rule 5(6)(g) of the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council of the County of Hawai'i, we respectfully request a waiver of this nomination through Committee so that it may be considered by the full Council on September 5, 2013.
