No. 372/Bill No. 107 <br />PLACE: Council Chambers <br />Kona, Hawaii <br />TIME: 9:10 a.m. <br />Council Chair and Members <br />Hawaii County Council <br />Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 107, reports as follows: <br />Bill No. 107, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford, via Communication No. 372 dated <br />July 31, 2013, amends Ordinance No. 13 -66, as amended, relating to public improvements and <br />financing thereof for the fiscal year July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014. The amendment is as follows: <br />PUBLIC WORKS <br />Waianuenue Avenue Improvements - Federal <br />(110.388.5381.03) $ 280,000 <br />Waianuenue Avenue Improvements - County <br />(110.388.5381.04) $ 70,000 <br />Funds for this appropriation increase shall be provided from: <br />Federal Grants Receivable $ 280,000 <br />General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - Fund Balance <br />and /or Other Sources $ 70,000 <br />The proposed bill adds the Public Works, Waianuenue Avenue Improvements projects - Federal <br />($280,000), and — County ($70,000) for a total of $350,000 to the Capital Budget. Funds for this <br />project shall be provided from Federal Grants Receivable ($280,000) and General Obligation <br />Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - Fund Balance and /or Other Sources ($70,000). <br />There was no discussion on this measure. <br />Pursuant to Section 10 -6(d), Hawai`i County Charter, the Council may amend the Capital Budget <br />for that year with a two - thirds vote. <br />FC Report No. 83 <br />
