Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 107, reports as follows:
Bill No. 107, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford, via Communication No. 372 dated
July 31, 2013, amends Ordinance No. 13 -66, as amended, relating to public improvements and
financing thereof for the fiscal year July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014. The amendment is as follows:
PUBLIC WORKS
Waianuenue Avenue Improvements - Federal
(110.388.5381.03) $ 280,000
Waianuenue Avenue Improvements - County
(110.388.5381.04) $ 70,000
Funds for this appropriation increase shall be provided from:
Federal Grants Receivable $ 280,000
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - Fund Balance
and /or Other Sources $ 70,000
The proposed bill adds the Public Works, Waianuenue Avenue Improvements projects - Federal
($280,000), and — County ($70,000) for a total of $350,000 to the Capital Budget. Funds for this
project shall be provided from Federal Grants Receivable ($280,000) and General Obligation
Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - Fund Balance and /or Other Sources ($70,000).
There was no discussion on this measure.
Pursuant to Section 10 -6(d), Hawai`i County Charter, the Council may amend the Capital Budget
for that year with a two - thirds vote.

recommends its passage on first reading.
