TITLE: AMENDS CHAPTER 20, ARTICLE 2, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY
CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO
CLEARING OCCUPIED AND UNOCCUPIED LOTS
EXPLANATION: From Council Member Zendo Kern, dated April 12, 2013. Changes the
title of Article 2 to "Clearing Occupied and Unoccupied Lots" {adds
"Occupied and ") ; adds definitions for "Refuse," "Undergrowth," and
"Unsafe flora;" changes title Section 20 -21 to "Removal of refuse,
undergrowth, and unsafe flora required" {adds "unsafe flora "} and
amends that section; and changes title of Section 20 -22 to "Complaint by
adjacent or abutting owner(s), request to clear" {adds "or
abutting," deletes "owners," and adds "owner(s) }" and amends
that section; amends Section 20 -23 by adding "occupied lots."
