Dear Chairman Yoshimoto and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. James H. Traxler to the Hawai'i County Veterans
Advisory Committee. Mr. Traxler, a former chair and current member of the Big Island
Retired Military Association, is a seven-year resident of Hawai'i.
Mr. Traxler has 20 years of service and retirement with the U.S. Army. He is a member
of the Knights of Columbus, the Elks Club, the Kona Sailing Club, and the Paradise
Fishing Club. Mr. Traxler states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If
confirmed, he will serve a term to expire on December 31, 2017.
