Subject: Yes on Bill #79
Although I live in California, GMOs impact all of us negatively. As a scientist/engineer, I am very concerned regarding
the ever increasing body of evidence showing the detrimental effects of GMOs on the environment(super weeds,
super bugs) and our health (gastrointestinal disorders, allergic reactions, etc).
Please lead the United States and prohibit the growing of GMOs (other than GE papayas) in Hawaii.
Thank you for your thoughtful consideration and leadership on this important piece of legislation.
