Subject: I Support Bill 79
Aloha!
I am just writing again to remind you that I support banning GM crops in Hawaii.
You have heard the countless reasons why they are not sustainable nor good for Hawaii. The public
really turned out to support this bill and as long as you put public opinion ahead of private interests, this
should be an easy vote yes on bill 79.
If you did happen to vote against this bill, my respect and faith in my local government would be totally
broken, as it would for many. It is so obvious that the people you are representing want this bill passed
and that only those few who profit from GM cultivation are against it. Please do the right thing, go down
in history for your foresight and statesmanship and not for your willingness to bend to private profits.
