SUBJECT: Transmitting Resolution No. 164-13, Draft 2; A Resolution Urging the University
of Hawai`i Board of Regents to Approve a Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Degree Program at the University of Hawai`i at Hilo
Attached is Resolution No. 164-13, Draft 2, as amended by Communication No. 387.1, which
was approved by the Council during its September 5, 2013, meeting.
In approving this resolution, the Council suspended Council Rule Nos. 15(2), relating to the five-
day holdover for reconsideration, and 24(1)(e), relating to floor amendments on final reading,
which allows for the immediate adoption and processing of Resolution No. 164-13, Draft 2.
