This communication is to request 30 minutes for a presentation by the Hawaii County Highway
Safety Council. The presentation will take 15 minutes and 15 minutes will be for questions and
answers.
Lil Beaufrere, Chair of the Highway Safety Council, Prosecuting Attorney Mitch Roth and
Dr. Sharon Vitousek would like to present council members with a report on what the Hawaii
Highway Safety Council is working on with regard to the Alcohol Awareness Program and
traffic fatalities on this island.
I am requesting this be placed on the appropriate Committee Meeting agenda for October 1, 2013.
