I support evaluating GMOs, but that requires an extensive background (and lots of time and energy) to
understand and describe the science and technology, and the effects of GMOs on human health, agriculture, the
economy, and the environment.
Why not ask biotech companies to give the County a grant for a GMO Environmental Impact Statement? If
biotech companies can afford airfare and hotels for the GMO "Summit" speakers, they can afford this—if they
think GMOs can stand up to scrutiny.
