Please determine if these are correct: • The public meeting announcement went out after the registration deadline, so the public could not attend—only members of hosting organizations and invited guests • Presentations were one-sided in favor of GMOs • Kamana Beamer said it was too one-sided and walked out • The hosts claimed they couldn't find any speakers opposed to GMOs • Pro-GMO stateside speakers said they weren't paid by the industry to come, but Hawaii Crop Improvement Association, where several biotech companies are members, paid the speakers' travel expenses CZ; -?n Cory Harden PO Box 10265 =i Hilo, Hawaii 96721 w –( mh @interpac.net 1- 808-959-7747 W Comm.
