Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 127, reports as follows:
Bill No. 127, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford, via Communication No. 418 dated
August 28, 2013, amends Ordinance No. 13-66, as amended, relating to public improvements and
financing thereof for the fiscal year July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014. The amendment is as follows:
PUBLIC WORKS
Ali`i Drive Culvert Replacement - County
(110.388.5386.04) $ 308,000
Funds for this appropriation increase shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - Fund Balance and/or Other Sources
The proposed bill increases the Public Works, Ali`i Drive Culvert Replacement (County) project by
$308,000, bringing the total of the County's portion to $758,000.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Pursuant to Section 10-6(d), Hawai`i County Charter, the Council may amend the Capital Budget
for that year with a two-thirds vote.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 127, and
recommends its passage on first reading.
