RESOLUTION NO. 179 13
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO THE
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR EQUIPMENT AT THE HILO MUNICIPAL GOLF
COURSE.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Hilo Municipal Golf Course has
identified the need for a Cushman Turf-Truckster utility vehicle and GreensGroomer Brush System
equipment for maintenance at the Hilo Municipal Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Hilo Municipal Golf Course has
deferred the purchasing of new equipment due to budget constraints and finds it difficult to maintain its
existing equipment to keep the greens in optimal condition for the benefit of patrons of the course; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the
Department of Parks and Recreation, Trans To Golf Course Fnd for the purchase of a Cushman Turf-
Truckster utility vehicle and GreensGroomer Brush System grounds maintenance equipment; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII,that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution
to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is
hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
