SUBJECT: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15, ARTICLE 8, SECTION 15-
68.1 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS
AMENDED), RELATING TO THE PARKS AND RECREATIONAL
FACILITY SCHEDULE
Please find the attached a bill amending Section 15-68.1 of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005
Edition, As Amended), relating to the Parks and Recreational Facility Schedule.
The bill proposes to name the gymnasium and emergency shelter in Ka`u in honor of Mr. Laurence J.
Capellas, Sr.
A map is attached providing the location of the gymnasium and emergency shelter.
Please refer to the appropriate committee to be held on October 15, 2013.
