Dear county council;
I encourage support of bill 129 to ban geothermal hydraulic fracturing, to prevent companies from injecting fluids deep
into the ground to release or access resources. I live in lower Puna.This area is already very fragile in that it is vulnerable to
the unpredictable nature of an active volcano.The people who live here have made that choice. It is very alarming that
further development of a dangerous industry in my immediate area when there are safer technologies available is being
considered. I feel that my communities safety is being challenged.
Please act to protect us from potential hazards.
