Aloha,
My wife and I are elementary school teachers who live in Yahoo with our four year old son and my
retired mother. We are well educated professionals who understand the real dangers of frocking. We are
scared for our family and community. Frocking is being protested worldwide. This should tell you
something. Doing it in Pele's gardens is downright crazy. I challenge companies like Ormat or Helco to
move their families next to a Geothermal plant if they claim it to be so safe.
My wife and I serve the community every day. So it is our hope that the community is served in its
best interest, by the council; especially, when I think of all of the children who will be put in danger and
possibly poisoned. You are in a wonderful position to help others. Blessings will come to you ten fold
when you serve others (as opposed to the few wealthy). There are better alternatives to energy that don't
hurt our aina and people. Please stand up for us!
