RESOLUTION NO. 185 13
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE KA`UHANE AVENUE UTILITY LIGHT
POLE.
WHEREAS, the airport evacuation gate at the dead end of Ka`uhane Avenue in Hilo is
not lighted,posing a health and safety hazard in the event of a tsunami evacuation; and
WHEREAS, the community has requested a new utility light pole; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to
the Department of Public Works for a new utility light pole, a light fixture and an electrical
connection; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII,that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $2,600
CREDITED TO:
010.801.5801.38 Department of Public Works
Trans To Highway Fund $2,600

020.281.5281.32, Traffic S/L account)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution
to the Director of Public Works and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the
necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
