Subject: Bill 129 drilling fracking ban
Aloha Council Members,
For the following reasons, I ask you to support Bill 129, banning drilling fracking.
1) The County must act to preserve the health and welfare where the state fails or is reticent to act.
2) Geothermal development has been successful here without fracking.
3) The known risks of water contamination and earthquake causation are too great to allow fracking on this Island.
