To Committee Chair and all Committee Members
PLEASE APPROVE BILL 129 as written . This Bill in its
enterity is most detailed and clear in its meaning and
intent to PROTECT OUR PUBLIC HEALTH,SAFETY, AND
GENERAL WELFARE AND OUR ENVIRONMENT IN TOTALITY
FROM THE DISATEROUS EFFECTS OF FRACKING IN OUR
EARTHQUAKE PRONE AND HIGHLY VOLCANIC ISLAND OF
HAWAII COUNTY EFFECT.
Please read carefully all of BILL 129 and understand just
what BILL 129 says.
BILL 129 protects us in so many ways including our very
valuable water supply. It is imperative that you all
understand the limited amount of water we have here in
Hawaii County. we cetainly canot afford the massive
amounts of water used in the fracking techniques.
The very strong possiblities of dangerous earthquakes in
Hawaii County would be increaces by such a high factor to
make even the thought of fracking abhorrent.
This BILL 129 also gives us HOME RULE CONCERNING
GEOTHMAL DRILLING IN OUR COUNTY OF HAWAII.
