Aloha!
I am writing in strong support of bill 129. The destructive effects of fracking are widely documented.
It threatens our main industry, tourism, our health, our beautiful land. Moreover, it is completely unnecessary.
If as much money was put into installing solar panels as is put into drilling into a live volcano, no one would
owe HELCO a penny. Fracking should be banned to preserve the integrity of our island on multiple levels.
So please, council members, vote in good conscience, vote with the people, and with the land, and support bill
129.
