Subject: Vote "NO" on GMO Bills
Please vote NO on for these bills.
There is a lot of talk about the Big Island being SELF SUFFICIENT, but this will be
impossible if the agricultural industry is saddled with this restriction.
In addition, GMO crops will fight disease and pests with less need for pesticides. In the
long run, pesticides are a lot more dangerous than the GMO crops.
Those opposed of GMO do so on an emotional level. Please listen to the scientists who
attest to the safety of these crops.
