Subject: Support for Bill 109
My name is Francine Wintersteen and testified for against bill 79, with my last testimony I did mention
a lot of facts and concerns and solutions that bill 109 supports. I strongly support bill 109 as harsh and
hard as it may seem....I am sure there will be the price for us to pay in order to be a prestige, unique, and
full extent of a GMO free abundance of land for Hawaii and all of America, a place that other countries
will support in great economical times for healthy and prestige food from our islands, as well as a place
to visit that has no concern for health issues. Like Hawaii should be!
Everything this bill has to offer is fair trial to the GMO current growers to learn to undo their crops and
is very ample time to turn back to natural growing farm practices. They will thank Ms. Ford for this in
the future! Keep Big Island Gmo free and give Hawaii a chance to flourish the greatness that we have to
offer. There is no other place like Hawaii in America to offer the outstanding animals, living, food, land,
and people. Do not allow greedy business corporations, science research, and unstable testings spoil that.
That is all I have to say...the future lays within' the bill to protect what is worth protecting. Which is also
why I support it, due to the management dept. In which the bill is engaged for it to be! it's the right place
to manage such a subject concerning GMO'S trans-genetic scientific man made substances that can and
does harm people, land, and animals. I have great gratitude to the bill...even though it may oppose to
small farmers such as me. With my animals....but I will make the change need to as to buying non gmo
food for my livestock!

Born and raised here on the island, and mother of six, owner of small farming...against GMO'S. Fighter
for our keikis health & future. Witnessing many gmo consuming epedimics of peoples kidneys, liver,
and other intestinal problems. It's on a rise...of removal of parts due to damages. Fighting for awareness
and prevention of GMO's results of serious health issues rather than the food for life...when life is
compromised.
