She was given only about 1 year to live. She lasted about 6 years longer(died in 10/07) by eating the rainbow papayas that I personally delivered to her weekly . She mentioned that the rainbow papayas gave her the strength & nutrients to carry on while going for her treatments. Also she shared with her mother-in-law,some of the rainbow papayas which she enjoyed eating. After Velma passed away, I continued to drop off the rainbow papayas for her mother in law who enjoyed eating& just recently passed at age of 90 years old. Also, through my working experience(22 years) with papaya industry in the office, I have never heard of anybody getting sick or died from eating rainbow papayas. Also it is reasonable in price& readily available locally. Your bills will destroy the papaya industry and eventually effect the farmers, papaya workers, stores, farmers' market, trucking, airlines, shipping, etc financially which we are currently supporting.
