Please vote No on Bill 109 and Bill 113.
My Name is Dan Clegg, I am the Hawaii land and resources manager for Monsanto Company and a third
generation farmer.
I oppose both bills primarily due to the discriminatory nature of the bills and the non factual basis they are
written. Farmers and Ranchers should have the right to farm by being allowed to choose the inputs they require.
We use GE seeds on our family farm today and it has resulted in a more environmentally sustainable practice.
