TITLE: An Ordinance amending the State Land Use Boundaries maps for
the County of Hawai`i by changing the district classification from
the Agricultural to the Urban District at Keonepoko Iki, Puna,
Hawai`i (Tax Map Key: 1-5-007:006, 069 & 070)
EXPLANATION: The area covers approximately 9.93 acres. The applicant, B.T.
Kuwahara, LLC, seeks to change the district classification to allow
for the development of a commercial center with approximately
104,326 square feet of leasable space. The Windward Planning
Commission forwards a favorable recommendation.
AMENDMENTS: Comm. No. Introducer Approved/Disapproved

RECOMMENDATION: Positive; recommends passage on first reading.
