RESOLUTION NO. 189 13
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR SPEED ENFORCEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Police Department seeks to reduce the number of injuries and fatalities
caused by excessive speeding in Council District 3; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to
the Police Department for speed enforcement in Council District 3; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC —Contingency Relief $3,000
CREDITED TO:
010.201.5207.01 Police Department $2,000

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Chief of Police and to the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is
hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
