Comm. 447: AMENDS CHAPTER 14 OF THE HAWAI‘I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005
(Bill 135) EDITION, AS AMENDED), BY ADDING A NEW ARTICLE RELATING TO THE
DISTRIBUTION OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS
From Council Member Dru Mamo Kanuha, dated September 24, 2013. Adds a new
article to Chapter 14 to make it unlawful for any person to distribute a tobacco product
to any person under 21 years of age, to take effect on July 1, 2014. Those persons at
least eighteen years old on or before July 1, 2014, would be exempt from this law.
Recommends passage of Bill 135 on first reading:

Submitting Video Testimony: Those submitting video testimony may email a complete web address (url)
before 12:00 noon on the business day prior to the meeting
