Serving the Interests of the People of our Island Hawai‘i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer GREDC-11 Page 2 October 15, 2013 Comm. 448: APPROVES PROPOSALS FOR INCLUSION IN THE 2014 HAWAI‘I STATE (Res. 181-13) ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES (HSAC) LEGISLATIVE PACKAGE From Council Member Dennis “Fresh” Onishi, dated September 25, 2013. The resolution lists 14 proposals, which were submitted to the HSAC Executive Committee by all four counties. Only those proposals approved by all four counties will be included in the 2014 HSAC package. Postponed Res. 181-13 to November 5, 2013: Ayes: Committee Members Eoff, Ilagan, Kanuha, Kern, Poindexter, Wille, Yoshimoto, and Chair Onishi - 8. Noes: Committee Member Ford - 1. Absent: None. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Comm. 407: URGES THE HAWAI‘I STATE LEGISLATURE AND THE GOVERNOR TO (Res. 170-13) SUPPORT AD PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE HIGHEST PRIORITY CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I From Council Chair J Yoshimoto, dated August 27, 2013. Each Council Member will designate a priority capital improvement project in his or her district, which projects will then be ranked for priority by the Council to be submitted to the State Legislature and Governor seeking their support. Postponed: September 17, 2013 (Note: There is a pending motion by Mr. Yoshimoto and duly seconded by Ms. Eoff to recommend adoption of Res. 170-13.) ; and Comm. 407.1: From Council Chair J Yoshimoto, dated September 26, 2013, transmitting proposed amendments to Resolution 170-13; and Comm. 407.2: From Council Chair J Yoshimoto, dated September 26, 2013, providing instructions for ranking the top priority capital improvement projects for Resolution 170-13.
