RESOLUTION NO. 197 13
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR WILDLAND FIREFIGHTING BOOTS FOR
THE VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS IN DISTRICT 1.
WHEREAS, the Fire Department has identified the need for funds to provide wildland
firefighting boots for the Pepeekeo, Laupahoehoe, and Pa'auilo volunteers in District 1; and
WHEREAS, District 1 currently has a total of 21 volunteer firefighters; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from District 1 will be appropriated to the Fire
Department for the purchase of 21 pairs of wildland firefighting boots; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Fire Chief and Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby
authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
