SUBJECT: Solid Waste Planning for the Future Discussion
I request 45 minutes to allow retired District 6 Council Member Bob Jacobson and Dr. James
Weatherford to provide an overview of solid waste planning for the future. The scope of
discussion will include a review of the County's solid waste assets, the current policy of Zero-
Waste, and future options for the County.
Please place this matter on the appropriate November 5, 2013 Committee agenda.
